City Tour Vitória - Vila Velha

This tour lasts for six hours and is a fantastic opportunity to check out the main attractions of this famous double capixaba!

Itinerary:

The start of the tour will be between 7:40 and 8:20 with search in the hotels of Vitoria and Vila Velha and the return will be approximately 14:40.

We will start the tour with a panoramic tour of the beaches of Ilha do Boi, on this way we will make two strategic photo stops. After visiting one of the most noble districts of Vitoria, we will pass by the beach of Curva da Jurema, ideal for those who seek Kiosk infrastructure with their foot in the sand. Later we will cross the Camburi bridge, at which point we leave the island, accessing the mainland on the Orla de Camburi.

Along the way it is possible to see the beautiful structure of the boardwalk with 6 km of extension and in the background the Vale do Rio Doce.

Next stop, Association of Paneleiras de Vitória, is the place of production and commercialization of clay pots. There are more than 400 years of tradition using techniques of indigenous heritage in artisanal production. The tradition is still alive and the paneleiras maintains the production of the pots that are used in the preparation of several dishes, the main ones of them being two symbols of the culture of the Capixaba: Moqueca Capixaba and Torta Capixaba.

Following our tour we will pass through the Reta of Penha towards the historic center of Vitoria, where we will learn about the history of the seventh oldest settlement in the country. Soon we will visit the bucolic Praça Costa Pereira the Carlos Gomes Theater. In the upper part we will see the Anchieta Palace, which is the headquarters of the State Government, and from there we will leave for the Metropolitan Cathedral of Vitória where we make our visitation stop

. From the center it is possible to see from close up the imposing ships present in the Port of Vitória, a path to which we will travel until reaching Ponte Florentino Avidos, the first connection of the island of Vitória to the mainland.

Upon arrival in Vila Velha, we will visit the Vale Museum, the building is an old railway station, with a collection on the construction of the Vitória a Minas Railway, the exhibition still has a locomotive dating from 1945, on arrival at the museum, in addition to a model of 34m², the largest in Brazil in terms of built area and representing a specific railroad. In the neighborhood of Gloria we will visit the store of Chocolates Garoto.

Further on, we will arrive at the historic site of Prainha Park, where we will see the Igreja do Rosario, one of the oldest Church in Brazil in operation, founded in 1535. And in the same neighborhood we will visit the Penha Convent, a tourist icon that should not be missed by any visitor in the state. In the days of Sundays and holidays it is not allowed access to the Convent by private vehicle, being charged the value of R $ 4.50 per person for use of the transfer from the base to the top.
