Parque Estadual da Pedra Azul
On this tour we take you to the natural pools of Pedra Azul State Park, check out the video!
This is a day trip, our meeting point will be held in the hotels of Vitoria and Vila Velha between 6:00 and 7:00, and the hotel must be informed after the purchase of the service.
The arrival forecast at the Pedra Azul portal will be at 9:00. When we start the walk, 800 m from the portal is the guardhouse of the Forest Guard where we will make a registration and receive instructions on the trail. At this point a term of responsibility must be signed.
Here we indicate to supply the bottles to start the trail that will take us to the natural pools.
The tracks are interconnected, there are options of alternative ways to quit (but we will not even think about this hypothesis, focus on the visual that awaits us.)
The forecast for the total round trip is 3 hours.
The first route will be along the Cedro Seated Trail, it is 600 m and level of difficulty is easy, here are two viewpoints of the Blue Stone and the Oven Great opportunity for those who want to breathe and enjoy the look in the middle of nature.
From there, we will arrive at the beginning of the trail of Natural Pools of medium / difficult level the route of round trip has 2500 meters, there being two options of access:
- Through a wall we will climb 97 m high on the rock with the help of strings (photos in the album of the tour).
- The alternative is a much longer route, but interesting for those who are afraid of altitude, is to go on the trail of the stairs. If you choose to do this, you will have to wait for your colleagues to finish the rope path.
Reward time!
Up there we will find 9 natural pools dug in the rock by the action of the time and the waters, besides the best panoramic view in Pedra Azul.
The bath is allowed and here we will remain for 1 hour, usually the temperature of the water is cold we indicate to take bath towel and a light snack. More tips on shopping conditions.
The return will be made by the same route that we go up.
When we finish the trip back to the vehicle, we will continue for lunch at Casa da Bica.
On our way back, we will enter Domingos Martins for a brief walk down Rua do Lazer to Central Square to enjoy the first Evangelical Lutheran Church of the country to have a tower.
Returning to Vitória around 15:30.

Leave only footprints, burn only calories, kill only the time, take photos only and take only good memories.
Leave every thing in its place. Allow other visitors to enjoy the environment the same way you found it. Resist the temptation to bring "souvenirs" to your home. Leave stones, seeds, flowers, among others, where you have found them so that others can also enjoy them.
Walk! A walk of 800 meters is necessary until the center of support of the Park. Motor vehicles are not allowed to enter.
Take a plastic bag to store the trash that is produced inside the park and bring it back after your ride. Help keep Pedra Azul State Park clean.
Respect the animals and other visitors, making the least noise within the trails. Enjoy the sounds of nature.
Stay on the pre-determined tracks, do not use shortcuts. Shortcuts favor erosion and destruction of roots and whole plants.
Just walk on the self-guided trails.
Smoking is not allowed during hiking on the trails due to the risk of causing fires.
It is not allowed to camp inside the Park and bring pets.
The consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited.
Unauthorized persons are prohibited from entering the tracks.
Tips for Visitors
Inquire about the weather conditions of the place and consult the weather forecast before any activity in natural environments. Rainy weather is not conducive to hiking on the trails.
The trail of natural pools is closed during rainy days. Prolonged drought can lead to temporary interdiction of trails and to temporary closure of the Park.
Choose the activities that you will carry out on your visit according to your physical conditioning and level of experience.
Rescue or rescue in natural environments is expensive and complex. So first of all, do not risk without necessity.
Treat area residents and park staff with courtesy and respect. Be polite and behave as if you were visiting the home of others.
Enjoy to learn something about the habits and culture of the rural environment.

In order to refund the purchase price (after deduction of the administrative fee), a cancellation must be requested at least 48 hours before the departure time.
If the customer requests cancellation at least 24 hours and a maximum of 48 hours before the tour, the refund will be 50% of the purchase value. The transaction will be made by the operator of the service by bank transfer only after invoicing the purchase.
If the cancellation is requested less than 24 hours after the departure of the tour the value of the purchase will not be refundable.
