Espírito Santo is privileged every year by the migration of the whale most observed by whalewatching lovers: the Humpback Whale.

A true treasure in the sea, the Humpback Whales can reach 16m in average length and 40 tons in weight, have a docile behavior and show themselves at every meeting with visitors.

Among the most admired behaviors of this great spectacle are the jumps, the flutter of the caudal and pectoral fins and the agitation of the competitive groups that dispute the females to mate. Another important moment that is possible to observe is the encounter of females with their puppies of approximately 1 ton.

- The total duration of the tour is from 5 to 8 hours (The duration of the tour varies due to the difference in speed of the boats, weather conditions and the sighting of the whales).
- Boat: Boat with a capacity of up to 19 passengers

Rules:

• The departures occur at 07:00 in the morning, if there is good weather conditions for the accomplishment of the same and has formed the minimum group for exit of each vessel;
• The place of exit will be said next to the confirmation of the tour with up to 12 hours in advance, the exits occur in the region of the capital Vitória, generally in Iemanjá Pier at Camburi Beach.
•  The exits will occur if the minimum group for exit of each vessel has been formed;
• In case of impossibility to carry out the tour, it can be rescheduled or the money can be returned at the customer's discretion;
• The wait-to-exit tolerance will be 15 minutes;

Recommendations:

• The tour is recommended for people of all ages;
• Breakfast (on the day of departure) should be light (without milk), with fruits and non-acid juices, salt biscuit, etc.
• Whales are on the high seas so it is advisable to consult a doctor about the possibility of taking medicines for seasickness, there is no doctor on board.
• What to bring: water / juice, fruit / biscuit, towel, sunscreen and coat for the days of cold wind.
• What to wear: cap or hat with a collar around the neck (protect the face), sandals that can get wet, clothes with UV protection or light and light clothing.
