Tour in the Guarani Indigenous Village

This is a walk for those who love nature, located in the Route of the greens and the waters is the municipality of Aracruz at one and a half hours from the capital, the only municipality in the state of Espírito Santo that has local Indians.

 In this region there are two ethnic groups: Tupinikim and Guarani. Currently there are 09 villages distributed as follows: 04 Guarani and 05 Tupinikuins. Our visit is in the HOPE HOPE (TEKOÁ PORÂ) Village, where live the Guarani Indians.

To make this tour even more dazzling, we scheduled the arrival to the village by boat, usually of the schooner type. The shipment will take place on the pier of the restaurant Mocambo in Santa Cruz, from there we will sail through the Piraquê-Açu River.

Access can be made by land as well if the customer prefers.

Upon arriving in the village, we will learn about life, customs and culture from one of the few tribes that still maintains its traditions: language, worship of the sun, moon, stars, dance and fishing. There they also manufacture handicrafts considered the most beautiful in Brazil and use as material, the coconut and the taquara, producing: bow and arrow, rattles, spears and blowpipe.

There will also be the option of making a trail in the woods, where the Indians led the group for a light walk in the native floreta. At that moment will be presented native trees, like the Jatobá used in the construction of canoes. In addition we will learn how seeds, roots, plants and other natural resources are used for curing diseases.

After the visit we will make a stop for lunch, we indicate the restaurant Mocambo (lunch fee not included).

Then, we will visit the Coqueiral beach that provides a paradisiacal scenery amidst a shady and tranquil environment. The beach is full of coconut palms, the water temperature is usually warmer. In dry tide the corals are well visible, completing this beautiful tour.
